I'll definitely start out with NGK plugs (BCPR6ES gapped at 0.039") to start my trouble shooting. The cutout happened on the first day I owned it, I got on the gas hard in third at around 3500rpm to check out the performance and it stuttered under full boost at around 4500rpm. At the time I was a frequent reader of this BB and remembered that there was a boost cut out so I assumed that what it was, only until reading the owners manual did I realize it shouldn't happen. I use 93 octane at all times and one final note; the weather has been very mild here since I bought it. There are no modifications and or adjustments to the boost or induction systems, not even a K+N. After I rule out the plugs I'll unplug the BPC and repeat test runs. Is there any danger in doing this? Correct me if I'm wrong but the BPC controls the boost via wastegate according to ECU signals according to knock detection? If this is so then should I disconnect the ECU connection to the BPC or the hose going to the wastegate?
