This really sounds like an ignition issue. An over pressure fuel cut feels like you hit something. It is also sustained for a brief moment. It does not feel like a stutter.
First thing I would go for is the plugs. If they do not look the same, then I would sustect the injectors and use some Techron Concentrate to clean the injectors and combustion chambers. But then I would be doing that anyways 2 or 3 times a year.
You can tell if a fuel filter is 20K or 120K, just have a look.
If you want to get a new DI, you can get it from one of this BB's sponsors and probably save $100.
If your 95SET is going into the red zone on the turbo indicator, then something is not running as stock.
Heat range 6 on your plugs will be good if you see that the current plugs are dark.
