Rear axle alignment: Camber and toe corrected with shims ?

Hello. I've been chasing a wandering, lack of stability problem with my Viggen. It became very noticeable once I put new summer tires in the back, and gets better once I swap back to winter tires. The front end seems to still be "fresh" with newish control arms, good ties rod ends, newish steering rack bushings and still excellent Koni shocks and good measured alignment.
The problem seems to be coming from the rear axle actually. Rear negative camber was measured, and is excessive. It would make sense that with excessive negative camber, the rear tires are rolling on the inner edge/corner of the very square new summer tires, which is not ideal for stability.
I know it can be corrected with shims, but how likely can toe be the culprit ? Could toe be corrected withs shims as well. Has anyone ever needed to correct toe on the rear axle ?
Thanks, and happy motoring
