So IS the rear toe out of wack??? I wonder if a body shop could tweak the solid rear axle if that is the case.
Rear negative camber is probably especially critical on vehicles like this where there is no stability control and the back end is so light. Personally, in 20+ years I've never had any issues with tire wear due to camber. My Viggen is mildly modded, perhaps 300HP/300WTQ, so tires don't last long though. I rotate twice a year and run summer & winter sets.
Also, I switched to 225/45-17 for summer some 5+ years ago and will never go back to the factory size. It drastically helps with a lot of the issues I've had, such as harshness, tramlining/darting/torque steer, lack of traction, etc. Current tires are 94Y XL.
