Sam,
Anders helped me diagnose my Viggen ABS issue in a roundabout way. turns out it must have been some Schmutz on the sensor - once Spring hit last year the problem went away. So you might want to check that all the sensors are clean.
I did have access to a Tech2 and on Ander's instruction we tested it as follows: when you slowed down to 1-3 km/hour my car would show a variance on the left front sensor speed versus the other wheels. i then embarked on getting a new sensor but before i got that, the problem went away.
in terms of rebuilding the ABS module i used Module Repair in Los Angeles because BBA had closed down over Covid. Now i've learned of XEModex in Eastern Canada has taken over BBA's business in some fashion. There are probably other rebuilders in the USA too.
Make sure you get the right part number off your module - there are two sizes of ABS Modules. yours probably has the 'small' one.
