Dean,
From your initial message, I'm not clear if you need the earlier '94 rack mount, or the newer style rack mount. The newer style is passenger side only and is a 30-60 minute simple install from above. You will need to remove the RF wheel to bolt up the brace, as described by Stratoman. I installed the washers on the brace bolt to the fender and enlarged the hole, btw. The older style does not have the brace, but does replace the driver's side rack mount as well. This is a royal PITA, as you can only partially remove the master fuse box on the driver's side, and have to work around that. How do I know both types? Dan Saarony form Accelerated Response sent me the wrong (early style) rack mounts, which I tried to install. Ed Abbott exchanged them for the correct (new) style at the SOC.
Update: Just went back and read the original thread, and I understand you need the older style mount. Given that the new style rack mount only replaces the passenger side, I'd wouldn't be afraid of of doing one side at a time. The driver's side can be a DIY install, but it involves a lot of contortions, skinned knuckles, dropping wrentches, cursing, etc...
When I installed the poly TCA bushings, after installing the rack mount, I found out that I had 3 bends in my 2 front rims (17"). Road vibrations are not dramatically worse than stock, but the car is VERY sensitive to wheel balance and true. WELL WORTH the improvement in steering feel/response. I don't have the subframe brace or metal control arm bushings.
Good luck!
Dan
