The ride isn't bad, although my reaction to it depends a lot on my mood at the time; I drive on everything from glassy interstates to rough back country roads.
The car certainly has a lot of busy motion on rougher roads, enough to repeatedly bounce my head into the headrest, but steering control is there. When I first put the shocks on, I was running them at ~1/2 turn firm, with the tires at 34psi. A couple weekends ago I got serious about autocrossing and attended a school on it. I turned the shocks up to about 2 turns firm and put the tires up to 40 psi. The handling was much crisper, so afterwards I brought the tires down to 37 and just left the shocks where they were.
Bottom line - at ~1/2 turn firm, the Koni's were more "floaty" at speed then I prefer, and now at 2 turns, they are perhaps too firm around town, I'm sure I'll get tired of the ride after a bit. It is nice, though to be able to make that adjustment.
