Some folks do carry a spare DI cassette, but my feeling is that if the car is so unreliable that I have to carry several hundred dollars worth of spares then I'm driving the wrong car.

A serp belt isn't a bad idea, along with a small tool kit. The best thing is prob. to make sure the spare is fully inflated.

Toss a bottle of Chevron Techron injector cleaner in at about 3/4 of a tank to clean the injectors as you travel.
