but with the introduction of the NG900 the lifespan got lowered a lot.
I have replaced quite a few clutches between 50-100K miles on the new body style, and here in LA most of the NG900 cars are automatic so the fail ratio is even more off.
The old body style had about a 50-50 ratio between stick and auto trannies and clutches seemed to last a lot longer on those stick shifts. Plus it was not an issue with a broken cable either.
