The clear coat over the lip on the 9000 aero wheels tends to bubble and get hazy and look terrible. What i plan to do is have my wheels redone and not have the lip of the wheel clear coated. Thats my suggestion to you i dont know if its a good idea to try to remove the clear on the lip and still salvage the paint on the rest of the wheel.
