I returned the black and clear coat and got single stage black and I will repaint the whole panel which involves the two rear quarter panels and the roof and around the windshield.I am going to try to wet sand the scratches out of the hood.That may end up getting shot also.
As far as the PO painting my polished lip I was going to remove the paint with either paint remover or carefully with a heat gun.Then polish and I guess something will have to be applied to protect the aluminum.
