I have a 1986 900s and the white paint is essentially dead. I clay bar, use a fine or medium 3M rubbing compound or Zymol HD cleanse and then Zymol wax or P21s. A week later we are back to dull. Looks nice from 30 feet but not glossy close up. I have always done this just not as regular as maybe I should have but still I was disappointed. I just bought a 1990 900 which had been on a carport or in a garage and used sparingly. Tonight I did the detail routine and yet "under" the clear coat some areas are dull looking. Question is this the begining of the end for the white car I bought Sunday. I mean in regards to paint.
