Saab owners are so informed and so smart that they can answer questions on a non-SAAB better than other people!
Has anyone driven a car with xenon headlights? Mercedes has them as a factory installed option on some cars. They are expensive. The dealer charges about $1100. However, they say that they are not available and one needs to special order the car. They said that they won't give as good a deal on an ordered car ($1000 smaller discount) so ordering a car with the lights costs $2000. That's a lot. This post isn't about negotiating with dealers, however. It's about whether xenon headlights help you see better.
The dealer, who doesn't have a xenon car, says that they are bright to other drivers but not much better for the driver in the car with the lights. However, he could be saying that just because he doesn't have any xenon cars in stock.
