Second generation "bi-Xenon" (both high and low beam) feature a sharp cut-off projector beam pattern, similar to that of an "E-code" (European beam pattern) but with much more brightness. On high beam, that "cut-off" is removed, and you get to light up the trees as well as the road. That is what Saab uses, and they are wonderful. The original Xenon beams were low-beam only and the beam pattern was poor. Trust your dealer on this - a good halogen light is better than a poor Xenon.
