maybe I will move to Canada. :^)
I get Canadian TV here Seattle on cable, on channel 2 CBUT. It seems like Canada has a lot going for it. I mean it would be paradise for vegetarian (don't want any mad cow disease) pot smoking legally married gay couples who want to drop out (no jobs available anyway) and grow some fine cannabis to export to the their poor cousins to the south.
Those BC Canadians are really smart. They put all the politicians on an island 50km from the mainland. Heck, BC Rail doesn't even go there. Then they turn Vancouver into little Amsterdam. Next they get the Olympic committee to think that they can host the 2010 winter games and get the federal government to foot a big chunk of the bill.
So maybe I will move to Canada. Except I don’t like hockey…and I haven’t been able to stomach the Canadian cuisine ala White Spot (who puts tarter sauce of fries?)…and I speak Canadian pretty badly (what the hell is a serviette anyway!) and my French is even worse. So I guess I’ll just stay down here and be a Canadian wannabe. :^)
