But I think to some extent, cars really are an extension of each owner's personality. Even to to the point of not caring about what you drive and not maintaining it.
I dunno, maybe it's probably not all that healthy to obsess about the nicks and dings of every day life, but having someone use your car as a grocery shelf is definitely a little over the top.
I can park my old C900 anywhere and it won't matter much what people do around it. But my 9K still gets put in the less busy parts of a parking lot, and I look for end spots to limit the downside potential. I love the thing, but it's still just a car and damage can be repaired.
