I got invited to the premier on Tuesday night in Marin. Wow, I fell in love with the philosophy in the second movie (along with the freeway chase scene) and I thought they'd really blow our minds in the third, but it was not to be... everything was as obvious as The Architect's "Please" indicated... Still, a blockbuster movie with some great effects and one and two are still in my all time greatest lists (I'm a modern film fan, I admit my limits)... I'm still reeling from that final scene though. Personally, I was hoping that we would find that Trinity was the program that had been developed to further understand the intimate aspects of the human psyche in order for the machines to either build a better Matrix or realize the hopelessness of duplicating free will/choice in a computer simulation etc etc etc...

Oh well,
