I agree with the others. Don't overfill it and give it a few shakes while grinding. I use it for my drip machine and my espresso maker. After you've used it for a few days you'll get a good feel for how long to grind.
I've used $$burr grinders$$ with good (similar) results but find most a PIA to clean.
I have another cheap Krups that I use to grind dried herbs, dried hot peppers etc.
