but not everything in life can be taken to extremes. Morning rituals must be considered in proportion to other needs: kids, animlals time, etc... while I would agree with you, the process of Zen is baby steps, master the art, and decided if you have reached yor own peak. The ritual must pleasant or Zen is lost. If the coffee is too expensive, if the grinding process takes too long, your frustration will build and you will give up. Similar to car maintenence eh? Too much, too long and you'll find a different method, a different person to help complete your task.
I say one step at a time grasshopper.Otherwise the question will be answered with "MU"
