Guys, this is the way I look at it: Forget eco-box vs luxury argument, or the Porsche vs. 9-5 arguement, I don't just like cars so I can talk about them, I like cars so I can use them. What I saying is that, what does my midly hard earned money get me? That is the question that I trying to answer when faced with a buying decision.
I CAN compare the Saab 9000 Aero and the WRX bacause to me they will serve the same purpose! The are both a sport utility vehicles in the literal sense; I want a car that will be fast, handle really well, seat me and my absudly gorgeous girlfriends comforbably, and still have room for the bags of leaves that I will be removing the for the girls' mothers (how else can I get them, with looks? HA!)
So looking at the buying decision from a practical point of view, that includes all of the reasonable available options among used and new vehicles, I would ALWAYS choose a 15 year of SAAB to a brand new WRX becuase the AERO is cheaper (10k) handles better, and is more confortable.
Yes, I understand that I am buying a used car so reliablity is less but YOU must understand that I have another 10-15k left over for repairs.
