a friend has a WRX wagon & I drove it around the neighborhood & it was just OK to me. Power wasn't anything to amazing but I thought the steering feel was descent as well as the overall feel of the car, not a light feel to me. Yes it definantly has some cheap interior pieces but you can't have it all for 25K! The 9K aero is a sweet car however to many people they do not want to worry about repairs even if they have a extra 10K in their pockets which is why I went with a vggen. They would prefer something with zero miles vs 50K to 100K++! Would I buy a WRX definantly not & I doubt a 9-2 either. My friend & I parked out cars next to each other (WRX wagon & my new to me viggen) & it seemed my car had more interior room with the hatch then his wagon, he was shocked! Power wise, my car is a LOT faster from 40mph + however at a stop he would eat me up which I don't care about. I took my friend for a ride & when I stepped on it in 3rd gear he stopped talking & said DAM this is fast. Cant wait for a new ECU :o)

You actually get a LOT of cars for that 25K & most of it is in the drivetrain & engine. Just like the STi (31K) & evo 8 (29K) they are econoboxes tweeked to to give excellent performance numbers for the $$$. For any pricepoint be it $5K or a $660,000 enzo there will always be items which cannot be fitted due to the pricepoint the car is attempting to be sold at. On the WRX you sacrifice interior for the AWD system, 227 HP (although seems over-rated) & a well designed suspension for the cheap interior. However if they would of put a nice interior to compete with saab, bms, audi, etc would you pay 30K for the 227 hp wrx? Kind of defeats the purpose of the car :o)
