The early Hondas where loaded with problems but Honda stood behind their cars so I have a hard time calling them the worst. I think Honda's bending over backwards is a mitigating factor.
The Delta88's they where complaining about where the one with the Olds diesel motors. That motor was AWFUL but only represented a tiny fraction of sales. The V6 was ok but not strong enough to lug that tank around for a long time. The ones with the Olds V8 where bullets. I was driving an '84 with 178,000 miles until a 3 years ago. The car was fine. There where some bad motors in a tiny fraction of the units produced but I think it's poor journalism to call the entire model the "worst" and classify it with the Yogo and Fiat Strada. I still see those old B-Body Olds, Buicks, Pontiacs and Chevy's on the road. Just saw a '79 Bonneville on 315 south yesterday and sure it was showing some rust but then so it my 86 900T. Where they flawed? Yes. Worst ever? No.
Not a single Chrysler product? Dart? Volare?
Not a mention of Lucas eletronics.
On the whole a bunch of hooey.
