I have considered myself to be very "nice", cooperative, and flexible throughout this entire situation. I realize this is a "your-word-against-their-word" situation, but I have retained all correspondence between each party. They have clearly indicated their fault, agreement in the date and time of the accident, so on and so forth. I don't know what kind of weight this would have in court, but it may be pivotal evidence. I just don't have any clue, though, so it may be a feeble attempt. If it were just a car, yeah, let it go. However, this is my Saab. :-) FYI...I contacted my insurance company a few minutes ago and they are very ready to proceed with a claim on my behalf. I just don't know what the best means to obtaining compensation is at this point. I certainly do appreciate your feedback, though. Drive safely, and KEEP ON SAABING!!!
