mods include boost controller, 75 shot wet nos & that's it. Last run was a 11.91 run with a 1.69 sec 0-60 ft run. I am not a fan of the 1/4 mi but that's DAM quick! Stock they are a low 13 sec car & he did 12.4's with only the NOS. However 3 weeks ago on his birthday he totalled the car with 3 other people in there. He know 3 people who also have modded evo8's who have also totalled their car. Every time it has been driver error, people thinking they can push it more then is safe.
stock for stock & think the evo would walk away from a viggen. 260+ HP & torque at the wheels are usually what they develop stock vs 213 hp & 268 tq at the wheels for my viggen. I don't beleive he would walk away by much, just a little.
Handling according to the mags the evo's do the slalom 6++ mph faster then a viggen with a .04G increase in handling. Some I feel is due to the sticky almost R compound tires on the evo but the car is suppose to be more balanced in stock vs stock form. That being said at my last drivers school I was between 1.5 & 2 seconds quicker per lap then the two evo8's at the school
& the evo's are ugly to! VERY poor crash safety!!
