Quick check of the mechanical engineering department confirmed by guess. You will need a 3 ton unit. The outside part (compressor) costs about $750. You probably don't need the inside part but if you do, that is another $750. However my chrystal ball says the start capacitor on the compressor has died. Part cost is $15 plus minus. Labor is one hour or the repair company minimum. You should get away with a total of $100. Let me know how my chrystal ball is working from 1200 miles away.
