Hi all. I also haven't had it done because I'll admit the idea of my vision becoming worse because of it has stopped me lol.

Having said that, I have been told by my eye doctor that even though I have bad vision (-7.75), I could still do it. So redaerogirl you might want to re-check your information.

There is a new version of lasik called wavefront (or refracted something or other)that measures your eye as it's being lasered and is also supposed to be the next better step in lasik. Not that it will help for anyone not in Cali, but here in Santa Barbara there apparently is a doctor of some repute by the name of Stuart Winthrop that you might give a phone call to and ask him, see if you can get more info on it.
