Heya all...
I just went to get an adjustment on my car yesterday at Allstate, the girl's ins. company that rear ended me. I honestly thought there was less damage than he pointed out, but am blown away by the check I received from them.
New bumper assembly, new rear panel, unibody straightended, brackets, mounts, new driver's seat, new door interior door panel, wheel well linings, and labor on top of all of that. He figured that would all cost $1816.92
That doesn't seem to be much especially with structural damage, not to mention this car will never be the same. He also said that all these rattles, creaks and squeaks that I now have including the car pulling to the left like mad has absolutely nothing to do with being rear ended. If there's a twist to the body, can't the car pull left? It doesn't have to be a suspension problem right?
I also have wind noise coming in through the driver's door which he also said has nothing to do with the rear ending. I was hit at about 25-30mph, she took out my back bumper, hit the tow hitch and went under the car. I just feel like I'm being taken by Allstate.
Any thoughts?
