Best overall deal IMO..... Is the car that's right for you! Trite yes, but it needs to be said. Saab folks, and Saab salespeople including me, tend to dwell on or get involved in the incentives and and special offers and the right car gets lost. It's like the deal is more important than the car.
Having said that the killer deal is a 9-3 Linear on a lease. The ad lease of 24 months with $2,995 cash is for a well equipped car with automatic and sunroof and more, instead of Saabs other leases that describe stick shift non metallic cars. It's actually a little less expensive to lease the car for 24 mos and then buy it out and finance the residual for 36 months, than it would be to just buy it for 60 months the first time.
The 24 month lease programs 9-3's and 9-5's are killer all around. 36 months may be even a lower payment depending on the cash down as the effect of cash on a 24 month term is more dramatic, 1,000/24 vs 1000/36.
0% for 60 months is great advertising, but often not the best deal as the incentive offered in lieu of the 0% may be more than the finance charge at todays low normal rates, especially with a 9-5 and it's greater incentive.
