Would be nice to see Arc and Aero in gas and diesel form. No need for TID tag like VW cause all Saabs are turbo (except one 9-2x and 9-7x). I think ArcD and AeroD have a nice ring and would allow a gas shopper to seriously consider cross-shopping the diesel. I think the torque numbers are fairly comparable too. Also Saab could through in some nice features only available in diesel trim to push sales. Hope someone at Saab USA is seeing the interest on the bulletin boards. Diesel would definitely boost the sales volume of the aging 9-5 as the E320 CDI is about $60K. Saab wouldn't even need the incentives on the diesels.
Ideal car/wagon would be full-size, efficient, performance, safe and comfortable on long drives and come standard with class III towing capability. Then maybe SUV sales would decline.
