I didn't test drive one though. However, here are my opinions.

It was an Aero model. I liked the look of the interior. I didn't like the feeling of the seats. The padding felt and sounded like paper as it made strange noises when I sat in them and squeezed them. They didn't have leather, so that would probably add another 2K to the price.
The front seats were okay in comfort, but nothing compared to the 9-5 though. The back seats would be fine for kids, but the leg room was very tight for me and I'm only 5'8". I then got out and looked at the sticker, $28,000 total.

They had a brand new 2003 9-5 Wagon right next to it for $30,000. This was a better feeling car all around. Front seats were miles above the 9-2 in comfort, rear legroom was much better, but probably still tight for a 6'0+.

I have wanted a 9-5 wagon for awhile, but have been enteraining the idea of getting the 9-2x instead. After my quick investigation, I would gladly pay $2000 more for a much nicer, bigger, more saab type car. I'm not sure how many 2003 models are still around, but that must take away some sales for the 9-2 car.
