I don't know much about the history of Subie AWD setup over the years but that doesn't sound like the traditional subie system does it? I read something that raked subie on the 90% front bias verion of the awd on some of their base cars that they are using now. This sounded like a departure from the past and the other models but like I said I'm not real up on the history. Regardless it doesn't sound nearly as good as what is used on the up trim line subie models. Sounds like the Linear vs. Aero maybe the same deal. Perhaps the Aero AWD desirable and the Linear not nearly so? If your going to do awd why not do it right especially when you have a really decent system available.
