I've had some horror stories with general mechanics so I just can't trust em. I may start taking it to a Saab shop that's close. It's a pain to get rid of used oil though.
My horror story involves getting a bent rear axle when needing a clutch master replaced! Jerks didn't mention it until I came to pick it up. "You know about the axle, right?"
