I believe the "wrecks and fights" theory has a flaw or two. First of all, there will always be wrecks due to flat tires, blown engines,driver honest driver error etc. Out of say 8 yellow flags..maybe one or two at the most are caused by an idiot.

I believe there are a few fans (hopefully a bunch) like me who would rather see two cars dukeing it out by passing each other on every lap, or going door to door for eight or nine laps, with neither being able to pass, especially right at the end of the race.

I think NASCAR is one of the last "family" sports venues, and I hate to see it deteriorate.

I think the superbike incident you gave was handled well.
