you need to chill, dude. I have sued and won in small claims court, and you can too, but leave your emotions parked outside the courtroom. You do NOT want any pain and suffering - you JUST want the dealer to pay to return the car to its original condition before you entrusted it to his care. Generally the steps are to send a letter to the dealer explaining in plain english the settlement you want. Be sure to include that you want the favor of a reply within 5 business days, AND that if a favorable reply is not received you intend to use the letter as evidence in small claims court. Send the letter by registered mail, return receipt requested and DO NOT lose the paperwork. I will be surprised if the dealer does not respond , but if he does not then go to small claims court. You are a cinch to win. Good luck.
