I've been using it every fill up in all 3 of the cars I haved owned and encourage others - friends and family - to use it. If I fill with something else, on a rare occassion, it would be Sunoco. Beyond that, when I am deep into Canada, and not able to make it back it is Sunoco or ESSO.
Not sure why I am loyal to Mobil, but I think it is because way back when, someone indicated that they had a problem with their engine and were able to "trace" it back to the fuel used. Since they had documentation of always using the same brand of gas, they were reimbursed. Have done it ever since, even though, "all gas comes from the same/similar place."
I too fill up when necessary, and I did just lose my fuel pump a couple of weeks ago on my birthday at 132K miles, and yes, the tank was about 3/4 full. Come to think of it, do I have any recourse if I have Mobil receipts, twice a week, dating back to the mid-90s?!
