That's disappointing. That dealership should refocus their attention to the customer.
I think Mercedes does a great job with customer service. Mercedes has gone far and beyond what I expected. My wagon is covered by the 50000 mile scheduled free maintenance. When I had the 10,000 mile service performed, the local dealership delivered the loaner car (toyota camery) on a flatbed tow truck to my house. Then my wagon was loaded on to the flat bed and taken to the dealership. Once the service was completed, they delivered my wagon on the flat bed and retrieved the loaner car. I didn't have to waste anytime of my time with the service.
I think some dealerships have to look beyond the idea of just selling the car. They have to provide the total customer experience to succeed. Of course, I have no experience with running a dealership.
