I have a 1969 1800S up on blocks in my garage as a sadly unfinished restoration project (unfortunately looking after our three Saab daily drivers seems to take up most of my spare "car tinkering" time)- but reading this is giving me the itch to get moving again on this. I'm not sure how many miles it's done since it only has a 5 digit odometer - it could be 74k, 174k, 274k - but I'm sure it's not 2 million miles.
My understanding is that Irv only had the engine rebuilt once (at about 680,000 miles) and most of the other parts are original.
