Satisfaction guaranteed - they just didn't say whose satisfaction.
If you're not looking for monetary damages, my advice is to turn your back on the whole thing. You're not going to teach them a lesson. You're not going to prevent this same thing from happening to someone else. You will not be able to correct the balance of right and wrong in the universe.
If there is a specific action you want from them, ask for it. However, if it extends to anything more than an apology or a check, forget it. You don't want these folks coming anywhere near your car again. Yes, they screwed up, but be aware that you'll spend more time, money, and effort trying to 'correct' this wrong than you'll get back.
Yes, it sucks. But the first rule of holes is to Stop Digging. The more time you spend worrying about the next move, the more time you waste on having a nice life.
