The 9'5 wagon would be the car for you, then. We have one and love it. My wife crashed her '95 9000 CSE this summer. The insurance adjustor said it had been a long time since he had seen a car hit that car. Wife was pregnant, and both of our kids in the back seat. All walked away with the most minor of injuries. If reliability is #1, however, I stand by what I said before. If you have misgivings about one make but go ahead and get it anyway, you will regret it at the first mechanical failure.

I have owned five Saabs now, and I don't plan to switch brands. My priorities, in order, are safety, performance (this includes steering and braking, which are tremendous in Saabs), utility, comfort, and finally appearance. With a Saab, I can satisfy all five of these priorities.
