It's a very impressive car. GM did everything right on this one. I got to drive several (stick ansd auto) at the "GM Auto Show in Motion," and my biggest complaint was that they did not let us drive the GTO on the Corvette/SSR track, but made us stay on the Pontiac course, which is smaller and tighter. And that's the problem with the GTO: where can you drive it? If I had a road track in my back yard, I'd want one, but on the public roads around here, I'd just be frustrated all the time.
After all these years of driving SAABs it was fun to steer around corners using the gas pedal again.
