I guess that line sums up why you like the MXV4s, not that there's anything wrong with that. ;)

Saabs are considered to be generally quite softly sprung over here. Our 9000 came with MXV4s, and every single tire that's been on the car since then were much better in all respects, except of course the ability to last forever. Even the various winter tires which have been on the car were better in both dry and wet conditions, without being less comfortable. I don't have to mention the difference in snow and ice. :)

The handling of the MXV4s was extremely poor in my experience, so unless there's a new "super high-tech version", I don't see how they can be said to have acceptable handling.
