No warranties, but a guarantee of love with proper care. It will take some time for them to get to be buddy-buddy unless they are litter mates. Instead of a warranty, I might suggest getting health insurance. While cats do not need much in the way of special care, all pets do need regular checkups and most states require shots yearly for distemper and rabies, also they will need flea treatments even though they may not go outside. Fleas can be brought in from your pants leg all the way to a friend who has pets with fleas. These things can be paid by and insurance if you wish.
Picking litter is trial and error. Our cats won't use scoopables or regular "grey" clay litter. We have to buy the white litter for them.
Good luck and enjoy, they are balls of love if properly cared for. Oh, some cats do have love nibble issues. They aren't biting to be mean, but they nibble on you to love on you. When they do this a firm flip on the nose will dissuade them. If you take the time with them, they'll let you know what they like and don't like. Also, if you should wake up one morning with a rodent in your bed, don't be alarmed, this is a sign of affection from your cat. Just pet them and make over the little treasure before you throw it out! The thing is all cats are like Saabs, each has its own personality and quirks.
