That's a LOT of mp3s!
I spent a week ripping my collection and was going absolutely batty after a while. I ripped about 1400 cd's which equated to around 15,000 songs total, taking up just under 100gb...and THAT'S too much music to sort through! I could not imagine having almost 10 times that amount.

I downloaded a freeware program that fished through my directory structure and outputted lists to HTML just how I have everything sorted. It's a nice way to know what you have. I batch edited all of my ID3 tags so everything is consistent to the way I wanted to sort everything. Basically condensed genres so I didn't have rock, pop, southern rock, soft rock...etc. Just made one big folder called 'rock&pop'....etc with other genres. Fun stuff w/o a doubt.
