. . . (Vienna) if only for a SacherTorte at the Sacher Hotel. I agree with Lawrence that Budapest is worth the time, and both sides, Buda and Pest offer different cultural advantages. A cherry soup, unique to Budapest, is another culinary treasure. Pricesare about a third of Wien.
You'll probably go north of Liechtenstein, but it's a fun place to explore. I also liked Aachen, the home of Charlemagne, and Monchau for the mustard soup.
OK, I like to eat and the more unique the food, the better I like it.
