I'd be an upset fan if I went too. Sounds (from what I've read) that Michelin didn't make a tire suitable for the course. No excuse for that with the long tradition and history of the Indy 500. Knowing that, the Michelin shod cars could have kept it a little slower at that particular problem turn, but it's not in their nature to slow down. If they go slow in the pits, they can slow down for a particular corner. Slowing down and losing spots will make Michelin look bad, but not as bad as it looks now.

I'm upset at both Michelin for failing to deliver suitable tires, and the Michelin shod teams for not working within the constraints of what they had. I'm sure it might be different if money was truly no object, but any of us often have to make the best of what we've been provided, and we're glad to do it. The Michelin teams didn't even attempt that - they acted spoiled. "If I can't get it my way, I won't race."
