I am still kind of blown away by the whole thing. Not depressed....just let down and blown away.

I really felt it was the right fit for me, my skills and personality and....as I said....thought the owner felt that way too.

The job was doing corporate recruiting by the way. I felt my personality would really fit in this field and you can make pretty good money.

I did speak with him and he said it simply came down to his gut feeling and the fact that I don't have an extensive history with phone sales....which is where most of the time on this job is spent. So, I can see how this would be a concern....but at the same time...most all of his staff now started in the industry with very little or no experience in that area either....that's the point that is really sticking with me and making me wonder.

I asked him to be honest with me about the whole thing....said I was professional and nothing through the process turned him off about me.

Anyway...it was a total of 8 hours of interviewing I went through and a personality profile test...so, it was good experience and confidence building for future interviews.
