Get the Black & Decker corded one. Home DESPERATE has it and the replacement parts you will need, such as a new blade every 5 - 6 yrs. Electrics are great. No fuel, no winterizing, no oil or sparkplug change. The only down side I see is that they just aren't as powerful. We have about the same sized lot and it's a breeze. Every once in a while, I volunteer to mow the law at church. It's an Ariens 4.5 HP and i do have to admit I get mover lust and hp envy. Then I have to go back and fill the gas tank!
