Moody Blues. But they did put out a great song or two. Recently brought my whole vinyl collection from my parent's home to play for my 16 year old daughter. She went nuts and had no idea how great this era was. I caught her listening to Buffalo Springfield over and over a while back (the man comes and takes you away. better stop.....). Now she notices the 60's music in commercials and movies--about 9:1 60's-70's vs 2000's (with some few beautiful exceptions). Commercials playing Canned Heat, The Band, Turtles, Stevie Winwood, Cream, Booker T (Green Onions my favorite song of ALL TIME!!!). It just goes on and on.
It did strike me that it might not be the music, but maybe that we've reached some advertising demographic milestone.
Nah, it's the music.
I hadn't thought about King Crimson for 30 years!
