My favorite automotive writer, humorist and connoisseur of all things with wheels admires the new K1200's? Wow, that makes interest in the new upcoiming GT version, the R and S are too "sporty" in riding position for me, even more compelling.

I was gonna' make a Val Rossi crack too, but restrained myself. The BMW's really do excell in the real world as BMW are the only folks who have figured out how to make a sporty shaft drive bike. I can't imagine going back to mucking with a chain. The BMW chassis are so good that there are spec racing series for the boxers and the K bikes.
