That's why noone in their right mind would solely rely on just having the car in gear while park a stick shift.
The manual gear box is not mechnically locked up so when the weight of the car pushes on the gear box, the weight is transfered to the engine and it is only the compression of the air by pistons/cylinders that holds the car (for awhile).
When you put a steady load on the engine light that, the compression will give way and the car will move.
So even if you leave the car in first gear and then pull the parking brake, the car will move enough to let the parking brake system take up all the weight and no stress will be left on the motor mounts.
